When you said Photoshop document for the frame-by-frame action, I thought you were referring to a single file that contained all the pieces that all the frames were made of, and I was thinking, how 5.5 MB bloat into 135 MB? XD
Awww, Aluina had less maniacal laughter in the script. I thought that was one of the finest moments in the final battle, with the facepalming and disused dramatic battle axes. Hee. 20 pages?! That's insane... It makes me wonder what the average length of a chapter is.

One thing I've been wondering about, is the miracle mass resurrection permanent? Doesn't Mr Reaper have anything to say about that? What happens with his list, and the rules of life & death?
Also, is magic gone from the world forever because Falss ate it all up? (nomnomnom).
How were these past months for you, working on the fic? Did you learn a lot about writing? What were the parts that moved you the most? (you were crying at times, and many of us felt the same). Did your characters take on their own life and do things you weren't expecting? (authors often say this...). How much did writing the fic affect your life outside the forums?
And finally, have you started thinking about your next creation? Any hints for us if so, or do you prefer keeping that kind of thing a secret?

this fanfic is beyond awesome !
I'm humbly apologize that I couldn't join this forum sooner and give any comment to this amazing fic though I actually knew about this since I was only a guest OTL

nice BGM selection Danexedas-san
they fit very well with the scenes
and beautiful artworks we have there.too bad few of them are rather blurry(maybe it's just my eyes)
I also found some dialogue boxes dissapear a bit too fast but it doesn't matter
I was wondering what would happen to Freesha towards the end of the story.As I thought...tragic but also touching...
I'm not really sure, but is this kind of ending what people call "bittersweet?"
my favourite characters :
1.Freesha - Her cute and innocent behaviors amaze me to the very end
2.Akuagon - I like his animal metaphors
3.Dekieru - Tsundere Queen win.
the Main chara's love story is still hanging...
I was expecting for something near VN system where we can end the story with the girl we love from the multiple choices in the beginning of this fic

You know what they say. Rules have to be bendable to be respectable~nya. Plus, let's say that Freesha's existence... isn't what fate had in mind.
Remember that Main's name wasn't on the list the first time he died? Well that happened after he met Freesha again. It seems that whoever Freesha meets affects their life in ways that fate did not expect. So their names didn't appear on the reaper's list on the right time, so he let them go~nya.
Well, more is explained in the "Dark ages" of the timeline when Serenade was alive, but records of those times have been long deleted. If I ever decide to do another fic, it'll be of the dark ages.

Yes, why they all did~nya. Basically, I think you know, but I basically make a choppy scenario and start writing. The ideas and lines just flow from my mind and onto the keyboard. I amaze myself at what I had written when I go back and read. Although, with that comes a price. There's a lot of grammatical errors and typoes~nya.
In short, I prethought NOTHING. It all just came to life on its own.

Well I did think of that before, but then I realized that if I picked one girl to make an ending with, then there are other fans here who will feel left out~nya. Like if I made an Aurica ending, they'll never know what the Mir ending was like.

First, Danexedas!!!! Are you some god???!!!! I've read quite a lot of fanfic for a decade and all I can say about this awesome fanfic you wrote here is a truly masterpiece and it is very original!!! When i mean original..... I never seen a fanfic writer/author does a video for the final chapter for its fanfic !!!!!

I believe is the early work of Nagi since I remember seeing it from his website before he remove it after he work on Ar Tonelico.
Left being his current one and the other one it his old style before it became how it is now I believe. In C75 he was selling something about his old work and some recent.

Freesha: sheesh...
Freesha grabs onto the sheets and grips them tightly. She prepares herself and pulls tightly. I grab the other side and keep the sheets on myself. We play tug of war with the blanket. Her standing, me laying.
Freesha: Hurry up already! We're going to be late for school!
"Five more minutes isn't going to kill anybody..."
Freesha: It's going to kill your grades! Leard-sensei is going to give you detention again.
"eeeeehhh.... I'm having a good dreaaaamm..." I try to remember the dream in my head. It was about a beautiful girl that I met by her falling on me. We talked about a black cat or something... If only Freesha didn't wake me up.
Freesha: Hurry up! Misha and Lyner are waiting outside. kyaa!
I let go of the sheets. She falls back and hits the floor.
Freesha: Nii-san... meanie.
"ah, sorry, sorry." I scratch my head as I get up.
Freesha: kyaa! Nii-san! Put some clothes on!
She looks away. I forgot I was sleeping in my boxers.
"...forgot about that."
--Later--
I walk down the stairs with my sister. "Morning mom, morning dad."
Dad: Son, I just got your report card.
"oh... well uh..."
Dad: Your grades are good. All A's, that's really great.
"Here it comes..."
Dad: But your history grade is lower than usual.
"Sorry, but if it wasn't so boring I'd-"
Dad: No excuses. You need to study more often and-
Freesha: Daddy! Don't bother Nii-san anymore.
Dad: I'm just-
Mom: Honey, if you keep them here, you'll keep Misha and Lyner waiting.
"oh crap, that's right! Come on, Freesha!" I grab her hand and run out the door. I stop and turn around, grabbing a piece of toast. "Can't be late without this." I resume to go out the door, grabbing my bag.
Freesha: Slow down!
--Outside--
Lyner and Misha stands outside of the house. Misha sways back and forth with her bag held behind her as Lyner chews on a funbun.
Lyner: He's taking his time, isn't he?
Misha: Yeah. But I wouldn't mind having a little more time alone with you.
Lyner: But we're going to be late again. Dad's going to give us detention.
Misha: Well we'll be in detention together! It just means we can be with each other longer.
Lyner: huh? Why would you wanna be in detention? That's not good for your records, Misha.
Misha: ooooh, Lyner's so dense!
Lyner: huh?
Misha pouts and turns around as Lyner remains confused. He thinks to himself.
Lyner: oh, you wanted some funbuns? Sorry for not sharing. Here, have some of mine!
Misha: No! No more funbuns!
Lyner: Come on! Don't be shy, I have plenty to last until the end of the day!
Misha: Nooooo!
"Hey you two!" I run out and run between Lyner and Misha, stopping their battle of funbuns. Freesha's behind me, wheezing and out of breath. "Sorry I'm late."
Lyner: It's no problem. Dad's probably going to let us off a little.
Freesha: No he won't! He's stricter when it comes to you.
Misha: Even though Leard-sensei's not my homeroom teacher, we still have to go! Come on!
"Well dash!" And so we all dashed toward the school as fast as we could. We had to stop a few times to let Misha and Freesha rest. Lyner and I laugh with each other as they rest up, joking about running on ahead. Soon, we finally arrive at the school.
--Hallway--
We run as fast as we could toward the doorway after dropping Freesha off at the lower classmen's floor. Lyner and I dash as fast as we could, sliding and skidding across the sharp corners.
I can see the door. Almost home free. The bell is ringing now. We have until that finishes before we get detention. "Slide!"
screeeeeeeee We slide at the door stop. But we did not stop. Our shoes kept sliding further.
Lyner: What's happening!?
I notice the wet floor sign. And coming up quickly after that was the wall. "Crap!" CRASH!
Lyner and I lay next to each other before the wall. We stare forward silently, noticing what had happened. The bell finishes ringing. We turn our heads to each other and laugh loudly.
Lyner and I: hahahahahahahahaha.
Large janitor: Hey you two! What the hell did you just do to my floor! I just mopped!
Lyner: Sorry about this, Bourd.
Bourd: I shut just smack you right now! What are your names? I'm writing you down!
Lyner: Our names?
Bourd: Yeah, right now.
"I'm Goku, he's Vegeta."
Bourd: Goku and Ve- hey!
Lyner and I had disappeared as Bourd wrote the names on his notepad.
Bourd: Where'd you go!?
He turns his head towards the hallway. Shut! He hears a door shut behind him. Bourd snaps his fingers and goes along with his business.
Bourd: I hate this job.
--Class--
Leard: You're late, you two.
Lyner: Sorry, dad.
Leard: That's Leard-sensei when you're in school. That's besides the point. You know what being late means, right?
"Detention, right?"
Leard: You know well. Now sit down!
"Okay, okay. Sorry Lyner, if only I woke up earlier."
Lyner: nah, it's alright. Detention with you is fun anyway.
"Ironic, I know."
I take my seat. Lyner sits to the right of me.
Jack: Hey, late again, huh?
Jack pokes at me from the left.
"Yeah. That happens a lot."
Jack: Come on, it's Friday. At least be early for that.
"But Friday's a great time to sleep."
Shurelia: You two!
Shurelia silently yells at us from behind.
Shurelia: You two stop talking right now. Leard-sensei is talking.
"Sorry, sorry. We'll be quiet."
Lyner: hehehe...
--Later in the day--
Leard: And so in the disaster, many men died. They tried to activate Serenade's throne, but failed to use the correct key to use it properly. As a result, the entire research team, led by professor Falss died in the explosion. To this day, no one knows what the correct key is.
Lyner: Sounds brutal.
"Who caaaares... This happened before we were born, why do we need to know this stuff?"
Shurelia: Learn from the past so you don't make the same mistakes in the future.
"When are we going to mess with high tech stuff?"
Shurelia: Still... So many people died. We don't even know what professor Falss found. It seems such a waste.
Jack: I read somewhere that he was a jerk.
"Where did you hear that?"
Jack: Radolf studies this stuff. Heard it from him.
"heh. He does seem the type that would look into this stuff."
Jack: Well he'll need to if he's going to be a professor.
Lyner: oh right. He's graduating a year earlier than us, huh? That sucks.
Leard: Quiet, all of you in the back!
Us: Yes, sensei!
--Lunch--
"Finally! History sucks like hell."
Lyner: We finally get to eat, this is great!
Jack: You only eat funbuns anyway, Lyner.
Lyner: But they're so good.
Shurelia: You know... they're really cute if you look at them close enough.
Shurelia leans forward and picks up a funbun. She moves it around to make it seem like it was hopping on the table.
Shurelia: kyukyu~ kyukyu~
"What's that?"
Shurelia: The sound funbuns make.
Lyner: No!
Shurelia: fumiya! Wha-what's wrong!?
Lyner: You're making a grave mistake here, Shurelia! Funbuns... funbuns... actually cry 'funbun-funbun'!!
Shurelia: eeh? But that isn't cute at all! Look...
Bam! Misha runs across the room and tackles Lyner to the ground. She rubs up and down his body with her breasts and legs.
Lyner: Misha! That hurts!
Misha: But I miss you so much!
"You're only in the room next door."
Misha: That's so close, yet so far away!
"You're killing Lyner there."
Jack: Lucky guy... Wish a girl could tackle me down every day.
"Yeah, must be nice."
Lyner: Don't just look! Help!
"hahahahaha."
Voice: Nii-san!
"huh?" I turn around and see my sister at the door. She looks kinda mad. "What's up?"
Freesha: You forgot your bentou with me again.
"oh, sorry." She walks over to us and passes the bentou, pouting once again.
Freesha: You're not forgetting it on purpose just to make me come here, are you?
"oh, she figured it out."
Freesha: Well... then I won't mind it as much. I'd still come if you asked me....
"I'll remember that."
Jack: woah, Freesha. Did you grow since we last met?
Freesha: We see each other every day, Jack.
Misha finally gets off of Lyner. He straitens his uniform and sits down.
Lyner: So what did Freesha make for you today?
"hmm. ah, soup and omlettes. Just what I was in the mood for. Thanks, Freesha."
Freesha: oh, looks like I guessed right when I made it. That makes me happy.
Jack: Eggs? Let me have some of that.
Jack picks up a piece of my omlette and eats it.
"Hey! That's mine! I'm hungry!"
Jack: First come first serve.
"I'd punch your lights out if Freesha wasn't here."
Freesha: No, that's okay. Go ahead.
"Thank you."
Jack: oh come on! It's too late to give it back now!
"Then barf it out!"
Misha, Lyner, Freesha, and Shurelia laughs as I jump the table and chase Jack around the classroom. The rest of the lunch period continues on like this. I hope these fun days will never end.
--Back to class--
Leard: Looks like we will have a new student with us from now on.
"New student?" I always do enjoy new things happening.
Jack: Think she's cute?
"I don't know. We'll see."
Lyner: I saw her the other day when dad talked to her.
"Really? What's she like?"
Lyner: Well she's-
Leard: Come in, child.
We did not have time to hear. The girl comes in and looks around. She seems shy.
Girl: uhm...
Leard: Go on. Introduce yourself.
Girl: Okay.
She bows.
Girl: My name is Cantor. My parents moved here because of business. Please take care of me.
The class claps out of courtesy for our new student.
Jack: She's pretty cute.
"No kidding. She'll fit right in."
--After school--
Shurelia: This was a long day.
"Yeah."
Freesha: Nii-san, can you help me with my homework when we get home?
"Yeah. Still having problems with class? hahaha."
Freesha: Nii-san's a meanie...
"But yeah, I'll help you when we get home."
Jack: But before that, we should all go do something tonight! Seriously, when's the last time we all hung out together?
Lyner: Yeah. It's the weekend and all.
Misha: Why don't we all go singing? I heard a new karaoke bar opened up.
"That's a good idea, Misha."
Shurelia: Well you all have fun then...
Shurelia looks down as she picks up her bag.
"You can come too, Shurelia. Even if we're not childhood friends, you're always welcome.
Shurelia: huh? W-well if you insist on it so much, then I'll... I'll come then!
"haha, that's good."
Lyner: You know, that gives me an idea.
Lyner stands up and walks toward the end of the classroom. He stops at the new girl and starts talking to her. "Heh, as expected of Lyner. Always the nice guy." Then again, that's why we're the best of friends.
Lyner: Hey guys! Cantor's coming says she can come!
"Alright, bring her along!"
Cantor: uhm... I'll be in your care.
Misha: We should get Radolf too. The more the merrier, right?
Shurelia: He should be in the student council room right now.
Misha: Great! We should go get him and head to the bar!
"If it's the more the merrier, then I know someone who needs to get out of the house."
Freesha: You mean our neighbor, Nii-san?
"Yeah. What was her name again..."
Freesha: I think she was Mir.
Jack: Mir? The girl who never comes to school?
"She just needs an opportunity to open up. Besides, I know she likes to sing."
Freesha: But will she really want to come?
"Of course. I'll drag her if I have to."
Jack: Hey hey. Courtesy towards women, alright?
Lyner: Alright then! To Radolf, Mir's, and then the karaoke bar!
Misha: Let's go then!

And so we went. The entire gang, plus new people.
Woman: How many?
"Let's see..." Lyner, Misha, Radolf, Jack, Shurelia, Freesha, Mir, and Cantor. "I see nine people here."
Woman: Alright. We only have a stall for 10 available. We'll charge you for nine. Would you still like to use it?
"Hey, more room. Why not?"
Woman: This way please.
The woman leads the group towards the room. I tell everyone that I have to use the bathroom and will meet them later.
--Later--
I wash my hands with a paper towel as I walk out. Looking around, it looks like a family lives right upstairs. What a convenient placing. Don't need to walk at all to get to work. "Cozy."
I walk to the stall where everybody sang at. "Now where is it..." Guess I should ask around. I look toward the nearest person that I saw with the worker's uniform. She's staring at another room. It looks like she's lonely. "Excuse me."
Girl: oh, hello. Can I help you?
"Can you show me to a stall for 10, but has only 9 people in it?"
Girl: oh, I know that one. Please follow me.
"Thanks. Say, wanna join us?"
Girl: huh?
"Come on. You don't seem busy. We could use another singer, since we have room for one more. The more the merrier."
Girl: I wouldn't want to impose.
"hmm. I guess we'll start with the introductions. What's your name?"
Girl: Well... My name's Aurica. Aurica Nestmille. I'm the new foster child here.
"That so? Well I'll show you to some new friends then. Come on, join us Aurica." I grab her hand and drag her into our stall. She hesitates, but I still introduce her to the whole gang.
As we sat down, we sang various songs. Everybody is enjoying each other's company. The night sky outside of the window doesn't bother us, as the inside of the room brightens with the smiles of many people. Mir unexpectedly got along with others very well, especially with Shurela and Aurica.
Cantor is still shy, but she's slowly opening up. She chooses surprisingly dark songs to sing.
Radolf and Jack sings their usual 70s music. It was funny seeing them lean on each other like drunk people.
Freesha was unanimously voted cutest when singing solos, right after Misha who sings cute songs made for children.
Lyner and I enjoyed singing pretty much any song that caught our eyes.
